Greater Charlotte School Athletic Conference

Our Background

Meeting the every growing charter school community within the Charlotte area, the Greater Charlotte Athletic Conference was founded by local athletic directors searching for schools for their scholars to compete against. The Greater Charlotte Athletic Conference serves not only the Charlotte area, but also surrounding areas such as Kannapolis, Concord and Gastonia. The conference strives to continue to bring scholar-athletes within the charter school community together to compete competitively and excel.

The Greater Charlotte School Athletic Conference prides itself on community partnerships to help increase participation in sports for all student-athletes. Through these partnerships, we have been able to improve upon the number of students able to participate as athletes and offer more sports for our student-athletes. This would not be possible without the help of our community partners and organizations!
